Despite being a city with a lot to be seen, Segovia without its aqueduct is like Paris without its Eiffel Tower: it is hollow. Quite a few years ago, Romans left in Castilian land one of the best engineering works of the region, if not the best, after building this well-known aqueduct. To get the best view of it, you only need to go to Agozuejo Square, one of the most visited squares in the city. What can be said about the Cathedral of Segovia? Santa María Cathedral, Spain’s third biggest cathedral, overshadows the rest of Castilian’s cathedral with its gothic style. Segovia may be a small city but their architectural wonders are undeniable. Another important monument is the Alcázar, placed next to the Tower of John II.
