This beach is located in the Principality of Asturias, in Llanes. It is on the Asturian green coast and is considered a protected landscape due to its great vegetation.
This beach is shaped like a shell and has in the middle of the sea in front of the beach, an islet where the yellow-legged gulls and European petrels frequent.
It is considered a semi-urban beach due to its proximity to the parish of Cué and therefore has a large influx of bathers. When there is a lot of swell, you can observe the jester of Santa Clara. Nearby is the viewpoint of La Boriza which offers excellent views of the beach.
