Soria is a small city but it has a great variety of monuments to visit. Among them, San Saturio Hermitage stands out, placed in a rocky place by the shore of the Duero River, created with a religious purpose. San Juan del Duero Monastery is another of the architectural treasures of the Castilian city. The arches forming its cloister are one of the most characteristic places of Soria. Furthermore, there are a lot of worth visiting sites; like, for instance, the House of the 12 Lineages, Santo Domingo Church, the Palace of Gómara Earls and the Numantine Museum, which is worth mentioning since it holds most of the province’s history explained.
