How to Get to Ávila

Ávila is located 111 km in the Northeast of Madrid, Spain’s capital, and its geographic coordinates are 40 ° 39 0 «N, 4 ° 41 ‘0» W.

There are several options to get to Ávila; it can be by car, bus, or by train. However, the province of Ávila has not any airport.

By Car

If you want to go to Ávila by car, there are seven possibilities:

  1. From the North, through the A-50 that connects Salamanca with Ávila
  2. Also from the North, through the N-403 that connects to the A-6 (Madrid-ACoruña)
  3. From the North-east, through the A-51, coming from the A-6 and that communicates Madrid with Ávila.
  4. From the Southeast, through the CL-505 coming from El Escorial (a locality in Madrid)
  5. From the South, through the N-403 that connects Toledo and Ávila
  6. From the Southeast, through the N-502 that communicates Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) with Ávila
  7. Finally, also from the southeast, through the N-110 that connects Plasencia (Cáceres) and Ávila

Ávila’s train station is located in the Spanish city of Ávila, in the autonomous community of Castile-León.
